Following his honorable service, Jonathan embarked on a journey as a freelance private investigator in the Chicagoland area. His exceptional skills and dedication quickly earned him recognition as one of the top field investigators in the state. The relationships he has cultivated with attorneys, law enforcement supervisors, and industry colleagues are a testament to his professionalism and integrity.

Jonathan attributes much of his success to knowledge gained from former colleagues and supervisors, specifically to the invaluable mentorship of John Frycek, an acclaimed figure in Illinois' private investigation landscape. Working exclusively under Frycek's guidance in the early years of his career, Jonathan absorbed lessons that would later become the foundation of The Pichler Firm.
